Message from our Director
We are thrilled that you have chosen us to accompany your entire family on your child’s journey through preschool. We feel lucky to share so many of your child’s memorable carly childhood milestones! At the West Hollywood Preschool we believe that cach child is given unique. creative, and individual qualities by Hashem, and that in our intimate class settings, it is our mission to foster those characteristics in our students so that they can continue on to live a Torah driven way of life.
Our teachers work to build warm, intimate relationships with our families via face to face interactions, written communication and treating everyone as though they are part of the WHP family. The early childhood years are a time to explore and learn through expe-rience. At the West Hollywood Pre-school, our students are exposed to unique experiences that are rooted in, and connected to, the Jewish calendar including Parsha and Yomim Tovim. A love of Hashem and of Torah are of paramount importance to our program. We nurture cach ne-shama on this journey! All of our exceptional learning experiences are built with child development at the core.
While typical car-ly childhood opportunities for free exploration, sensory investigation, art, science and motor coordination are pillar to our program, they are presented by our engaging staff in ways that seamlessly promote a lifelong relationship with Hashem and a Torah lifestyle. Our warm and loving environment taps into each child’s individual strengths while simultaneously working on building a classroom community.
Children are exposed to Parsha, Te-filah, Yomim Tovim to help build the foundation as they continuc on their journey to independence and their own individualized relationship with Yidishkeit and Hashem. In addition, emotional health and awareness is incorporated into the core of our curriculum. Not only do we want to plant the seeds for future Ovdei Hashem, but we strive to build their self-confidence and overall mental health and happiness. West Hollywood Preschool's New Playground
We are so excited to embark on the building of the West Hollywood Preschool’s new playground this coming summer. Outdoor time provides children with a safe space to explore, develop, grow, and create. By installing this new beautiful playground, we are providing a sacred space for our children that they will cherish and enjoy throughout their years in the West Hollywood Preschool. We are so thankful to our donors Rachel and Andrew Saka for gifting this playground in honor of their parents Mr. & Mrs. Sandy Saka and Rabbi & Mrs. Yehuda Benhamu.
